Greetings from Colorado

Greetings from Colorado Postcard. Available at Legends’ General Store.

Majestic peaks, lush valleys, a history rich with mining tales, the life and death of boomtowns, and rags-to-riches stories are the focus of Colorado Legends.

Tumbling down gold mines and virtually intact ghost towns dot the landscape, along with bustling cities filled with events and festivals. Colorado’s four national parks, 13 national forests, and 42 state parks offer ever-boundless opportunities for adventures, including camping, fishing, hiking, sightseeing, and horseback riding.

In the Fall, the foliage of the mountains and valleys is absolutely breathtaking, and the opportunities for wildlife viewing are everywhere. In the winter, bring your skis and snowboards and enjoy the slopes of the beautiful Rocky Mountains. You’re going to love it here!

There is much to experience in Colorado; you won’t be disappointed. Enjoy your travels in Colorado, and welcome to the Centennial State.

Colorado FlagThe official state flag of Colorado was adopted on June 5, 1911. Andrew Carlisle Johnson designed it in 1911. The white in the flag symbolizes Colorado’s snow-capped mountains, the blue symbolizes clear blue skies, the red symbolizes the reddish soil, and the golden yellow represents the Sun. Attached to the flag is a cord of gold and silver intertwined with gold and silver tassels.
