William Kellam,
aka: Cherokee Bill - A gunman for Oliver Lee in the Lee-Good feud in Tularosa,
New Mexico.

Robert Kenny - A
gunman, he shot and killed Julius Lancleve in March 1878 at Palomas,
New Mexico.

Jack Kilmartin -
A
gunman and civilian Indian scout, he pursued rustlers and outlaws around
Fort Sill,
Oklahoma and was shot and killed while spying on
rustlers.

"Cowboy Bill"
King - A
gunman and ranch foreman in Sonorra,
New Mexico, he was killed by Burt Alvord in the
1890s.

Ed King - A
gunman and cowboy at the LS ranch in Oldham County,
Texas, he was killed in a shoot-out with Len
Woodruff, an LX cowboy.

John Kinney - A
gunman for hire and a cattle rustler, he led the
John Kinney Gang.
He fought in the EI Paso Salt War in 1877 and for
Dolan-Murphy
faction in the
Lincoln County War of
New Mexico.
He served five years in prison for rustling and died in
Arizona in 1919.

George Kitt - A
gunman in the
Lincoln County War of
New Mexico, he rode with the posse that
killed John Tunstall on
February 18, 1878.

John Joseph
KIoehr - A gunman and resident of Coffeyville, Kansas Kloehr was credited.
with having shot and killed Bob Dalton, Bill Broadwell, Grat Dalton, and Texas
Jack, and having wounded Emmet Dalton during the Dalton gang's attempted raid
on two
Coffeyville
banks. Kloehr died of natural causes in 1927.

Charles Kresling
– A
gunman in the
Lincoln County War of
New Mexico, he was indicted for his
participation.

"Dutch Charlie" Kruling - A member of the
Seven Rivers Warriors who fought in
New Mexico's
Lincoln
County War. After the war was over, he
disappeared from history.

Robert Lacy (18??-1877) - Gambler, scoundrel, and gunfighter, Lacy was
lynched in Rawlins,
Wyoming
in 1877, after having swindled several people in the area.

Smith Lea - A
gunman, he killed Catarino Romero in June 1885 at Lincoln,
New Mexico. -
Bob Lee - A
gunman,
he was a friend of Dick Rogers in Raton,
New Mexico, and two attempted to break a friend
out of jail in Springer. -
Oliver Milton Lee
(1866-1941)
– One of the best gunfighters in the Old West, he was the primary agitator in
the Lee-Good feud in Tularosa,
New Mexico. He had A.J. Fountain killed and was
an enemy of
Pat Garrett. -
Kitty LeRoy (1850-1878) - A
gunfighter
and gambler, she was one of the
Old West's
best women gamblers. In 1876 she ran a saloon in
Deadwood,
South Dakota.
Her many lovers included
Sam Bass
and
Wild Bill
Hickok.
Her fifth husband grew jealous and killed her in 1878. -
Nashville
Franklin "Buckskin Frank" Leslie (1842-1925?) - A friend to the
Earps in
Tombstone,
Arizona
and deadly
gunman
he
killed ten to thirteen men including Mike Killeen and
Billy Claibourne
in 1881, and claimed he killed
Johnny Ringo.
He served
eight years in
Yuma
prison for murder in. 1889.By
1922, he had disappeared from any records and his place and time of death are
unknown.

Jim Levy
(1842-1882) - Sometimes referred to as the "Jewish Gunfighter,"
Levy allegedly he lived through 16 gunfights before he was ambushed in Tucson,
Arizona by
John Murphy.

Lincoln County Regulators (1878) - Opposing the Dolan-Murphy faction in
Lincoln County,
New Mexico
over the control of the county, the
Lincoln County
Regulators began as a deputized posse seeking revenge for the
death of their boss and friend,
John Tunstall. -
Dick Lloyd - A member of
Jesse Evans Gang during
New Mexico's
Lincoln
County War . Afterwards he went to Arizona
wehre he was shot and in the early 1880s.

John "Jack" Long, aka: "Long John"( 18??-??) - Having a reputation as a
gunfighter in
Texas, Long
later went to
New Mexico,
where he was involved in the
Lincoln County War as a member of the
Jesse Evans Gang. Afterwards, he went to Arizona and disappeared, as his
name was soon lost to history.

"Big" Steve Long (18??-1868) - Known
mostly as a professional
gunman, Long also was a lawman and an
outlaw.
When outlawry became his main objective in 1868, he was lynched by a
vigilante mob in Laramie City,
Wyoming
on October 28th.

William Preston
Longley, aka: Wild Bill, Rattling Bill, Tom Jones, Jim Patterson, Jim Webb,
Bill Black, Bill Henry, Bill Jackson (1851-1878) -
Texas
outlaw
Bill Longley
was from a respectable family, but his hot temper, his fondness for liquor, and
unsettled conditions during reconstruction led him to become one of the most
daring gunfighters
of his day. He is said to have killed 32 persons before he was captured and
hanged on October 11, 1878.

“Cock-Eyed” Frank Loving (1860?-1882) - Still in his teens, Loving
was involved in the
Richardson-Loving gunfight at the
Long Branch Saloon, in
Dodge City,
Kansas in
1879. He was later involved in the
Trindad, Colorado Saloon gunfight in 1882, where he was shot dead.

Joseph "Rowdy Joe" Lowe (1845-1899) - Running a saloon in Delano,
Kansas, Lowe shot and killed
Edward "Red" Beard on October 27, 1873. Later, he moved to
Texas, where
it was said that Lowe sometimes joined up with the
Sam Bass Gang. He was killed in Denver,
Colorado on
February 11, 1899 by ex-policeman, E.A. Kimmel.

Aban Lucero - A
gunman, he shot and killed a man in Galisteo,
New Mexico, on
February 9, 1891.

Martiniano Lujan -
A
gunman, he shot and killed Martias Mirival on
February 21, 1890, near Lincoln,
New Mexico.

Melchior Luna - A
gunman, he shot Manuel Sanchez on February 20, 1883, in Belen,
New Mexico.

Frank MacNab - The second leader of the
Lincoln County Regulators, who fought for the
McSween faction of the
Lincoln
County War . He was killed by a
posse made up of the combined forces of the Jessie Evans Gang and
Seven Rivers Warriors at the Fritz Ranch,
New Mexico on April 29, 1878.

New Mexico,
he was indicted in 1878 for his participation. He was killed by a posse
in 1880. -
Robert
Majors - A
gunman, he shot and killed former Texas Ranger James Harris in
a shoot-out at
Santa Cruz,
California in the early 1880s. -
Henry Mamby -
A
gunman, he shot and killed D.B. Griffin on May II, 1884 in Vermijo,
New Mexico.

Mitchel
“Mitch” E. Maney, aka: Mike Manning - A
gunman, he shot and killed Juan
Patron in
Puerto de Luna,
New Mexico on
April 12,
1884.

A.E. Manning
- A merchant and
gunman in Northfield, Minnesota, he shot Cole Younger and
Bill Chadwell on September 7, 1876 when the James-Younger Gang were
attempting to rob the bank.

James Manning
- A
gunman, he was one of the brothers in an EI Paso feud with Marshal
Dallas Stoudenmire. In 1882, James shot Stoudenmire in the head and was
acquitted of murder.

Jim Mansker -
A
gunman, he was killed at Miles City, Montana in 1894 during a gunfight.

Charles Marshall - A member of the
Seven Rivers Warriors who fought in
New Mexico's
Lincoln
County War. He was killed in Lincoln,
New Mexico on
April 30, 1878, probably by members of the
Regulators.

Bob Martin - A member of
Jesse Evans Gang during
New Mexico's
Lincoln
County War . Nothing known of life
following the conflict.

gunman in the
Lincoln County War of
New Mexico, he was indicted in 1878 for his
participation.

Fought with the
Regulators in the
Lincoln
County War of
New Mexico.
