  1. I was asked to join the search for a small Texas treasure roughly 20 years ago. The story is about a letter found in an old chest of drawers. It was stating that after the Texans had taken the Alamo from General Cos in 1835 that the Mexican payroll (dos mil pesos – 2000 pesos) was hidden. The letter gave the general location. Has anybody else heard of this tale of the payroll?
