Caught With His Pants Down

Last year, my two co-workers and I were traveling on a business trip in Arkansas. I was the driver, and traveling on Interstate 40, when I had the sudden urge to find the nearest restroom. I took the next exit and found the first public building which happened to be a rural liquor store. I came to a screeching halt and hurriedly went inside and asked the owner the directions to the men’s room. She told me she didn’t have a restroom inside but there was an outhouse out back I could use. At that point and time, anything would do, and I asked her if there was any toilet tissue out there, she said she thought there was but gave me a roll just in case.

I quickly snatched the roll from her hands, ran out the front door, around the back, and into the outhouse with urgent speed. I sat down, aaaaaaah such great relief!  The wind speed that day was about 20 mph, and the door spring on the outhouse was broken. A gust of wind suddenly blew open the door, and there was no way to close it.  So…I’m sittin’ there with the door wide open, and my co-workers, (male and female), staring and dying laughing. Other vehicles were passing by, and I’m sure they all got an eyeful too. So now, since it was impossible to close the door, much to my embarrassment, I had to finish the paperwork, stand up, and pull my pants up, in full view of everyone on the planet. I got back into the car and onto the highway. A quarter mile down the highway, we saw a sign that read: PUBLIC REST STOP, NEXT EXIT.!
