Masonic Lodge, Fredericksburg
- Text on back: "Washington
Mother Lodge" George Washington was made a Mason in this Old Masonic
Lodge, on Novemer 4th, 1752. Later an honorary degree was conferred on
General Lafayette in a special meeting attended by that gallant
Frenchman. Vintage postcard has writing on back; postmarked 1938; one
cent stamp intact; good condition.
Deer in City Park, Norfolk - Text on back: Deer in City
Park, Norfolk, Va. Conceded to be one of the best kept parks south of
Philadelphia. The flower display is large and beautiful, and the
Zoological collection unusually full and interesting. This park was
named in honor of the great French General Lafayette to whose offices
is largely due the independence of America. Vintage postcard has
writing on back; postmarked 1916; one cent stamp intact; good
condition.

George Washington's Bedroom, Mt Vernon

This is the room in which Washington died. The bedstead, chair, the
mahogany table, are as they were at the moment of his death. On the chair
lay the open Bible from which Mrs. Washington had been reading to him.
