Big Texan Postcard Standing Tall on Route 66 - Custom original only available at the Rocky Mountain General Store. Text on back: Though technically no longer on Route 66, the Big Texan Steak Ranch has been a Route 66 icon for four decades. Originally located on Amarillo Boulevard, the successful and lively eatery got its start in 1959. To maintain its success, It was forced to move to I-40 when Route 66 was bypassed by the interstate. It continues to serve Mother Road travelers today with lively entertainment and great steaks. Postcard is brand new and in mint condition.

U.S.S. Lexington at night, Corpus Christi - Text on back: U.S.S. Lexington CV 16 - The U.S.S. Lexington Museum - one of Corpus Christi's premiere attractions. Photographed in evening twilight, this WWII vintage aircraft carrier proudly depicts its nickname, "The Blue Ghost" so named because Japan's Navy made numerous claims to have sunk her. The Lady Lex is a floating Museum berthed just offshore from the Texas State Aquarium and Corpus Christi Beach. Postcard is unused and in excellent condition.

Greetings From Turtle Back and Seven Mile Peak - Text on back: "Greetings From Turtle Back & Seven Mile Peak" Right: Seven Mile Peak Left: Turtle Back Mtn. Visible only a short distance from U.S. Hi-Way 80 (Broadway of America), between Van Horn and Sierra Blanca, Texas. Seven Mile Peak resembles Guadalupe Peak located some 55 miles further north. It was often mistaken for Guadalupe Peak by the early pioneers. Turtle Back Mtn. has the appearance of a sleeping turtle and was so named. Vintage postcard is unused and in good condition.
