Calart Brook and Gardens, Providence - Text on back: The Calart Building, 400 Reservoir Avenue, Providence, Rhode Island. A picturesque spot on the California Artificial Flower Company's grounds. The flowering shrubs and vines serve the dual purpose of beautifying and also as living models for Calart's Artificial Flowers. Vintage linen postcard is unused and in good condition.

Manning Hall, Providence - Text on back: Manning Hall, Brown University, Providence, Rhode Island. Opened in 1935, it was named after James Manning, first President of Brown University. It presently is used as the University Chapel. Vintage postcard is unused and in good condition.

Castle Hill Light, Newport - Text on back: Castle Hill Light, Newport, Rhode Island. Since 1890, when it was built by the U.S. Coast Guard, this light has marked the entrance to Newport Harbor and Narragansett Bay. It originally included a light-keepers house which was removed when the light was automated. The Newport Coast Guard Station is located nearby on the Ocean Drive side of Castle Hill. Postcard is new and in mint condition.

Barrington Town Hall, Barrington - Text on back: Barrington Town Hall - Barrington, Rhode Island. Built in 1888, of medieval architecture, it occupies a picturesque site on Prince’s Hill. The ivy covered field-stones of the lower story give it a tone of rusticity that is very restful in a town that has grown in population from 1400 in 1888 to 12,750 in 1956. It houses the Public Library and Town Offices. Vintage postcard is unused and in good condition.
