dollars assures its guest the finest lodging and dining. Postcard is unused and
in very good condition.
Greetings From Oklahoma - Flag

Oklahoma State Flag.
The flag is symbolic. The tan center is an Osage warrior's buckskin shield,
representing defensive or protective warfare. Across the shield runs the red
man's Calumet (peace pipe) crossed with the white man's peace symbol, the olive
branch. The small crosses are Indian stars and represent lofty ideals. The blue
field represents the blue skies of
Oklahoma. Vintage 1960s postcard is unused
and in very good condition.

modern in the state, with outstanding operative facilities and staff of leading
surgeons, serves a vast area of patients in southwestern
Oklahoma and nearby
Texas. Vintage postcard has writing on back but was never mailed, very good
condition.
Turner
Turnpike, Oklahoma - Text on back: Main entrance to Turner Turnpike.
This 88 mile turnpike runs directly between
Oklahoma City
and
Tulsa,
connecting with the Will Rogers Turnpike at
Tulsa
which extends into
Missouri. Vintage postcard is unused and in very good
condition.
Caddo village at Anadarko - Text on back: Anadarko,
Oklahoma. Caddo village at Indian city USA at Anadarko, the Indian Capital of
the nation. Vintage postcard is unused and in very good condition.
Vanished Route
66 Sights in Oklahoma - Text on back: Oklahoma Route 66, Series 1
marks the debut of Vanished Sights - a photographic tribute to favorite
structures once seen along 66 but now gone. The sights depicted in Series 1 were
still in existence in 1996. Over time, they have either been demolished, moved
to a new location away from the route, or met an unknown fate.
Calmez Hotel, Clinton, Oklahoma
- Text on back: The Calmez
Hotel was located in downtown Clinton on its earliest alignment of 66. It was
destroyed in 2000 due to lack of funds to restore it. Postcard is new and in
mint condition.
Golden Grain near
Altus, Oklahoma - Text on back: Golden Grain. Wheat is a major crop in the
agricultural economy of the Altus area, ranking second only to cotton in annual
income for Jackson County farmers. Here, two combines work as a team to harvest
a bumper crop of the golden grain in a field near Altus. Vintage postcard is
unused and in very good condition.
