Cones, Mojave National Preserve - Text on back: Cinder
Cones. A cinder cone is a steep cone-shaped hill made up of volcanic
fragments. These fragments accumulated around and downwind from the
vent. Cinder cones can range in size from tens to hundreds of feet
high. The cinder cones found in the Mojave National Preserve are among
the best preserved in the world. Postcard is new, unused and in mint
condition.
Mount Rainer National Park -
No text on back. Vintage postcard has writing on the
back, is postmarked 1913 and complete with intact 1 cent
stamp. Postcard is in good condition with slight edge/corner
wear.

tall. The 229 square miles of wilderness that make up Zion National
Park are the result of extensive geologic uplift, tilting, and erosion
along the edge of the Colorado Plateau region. The area was first
designated as a National Park in 1919. Postcard is new, unused and in
