Flowers of Death Valley - Text on back: Death Valley National Monument, California. In spite of the harsh environment of the floor of Death Valley, plants adapt and specialize or the perish. With an average rainfall of less than 2 inches a year, it is truly a remarkable sight to see a profusion of color in the springtime in Death Valley. Postcard is new, unused and in mint condition.

Yosemite Hetch Hetchy - Tueeulala Falls is on the left and Wapama Falls is on the right. From the lake to the top of Tueeulala Falls is better than 1,000 feet. You can drive to Hetch Hetchy. Postcard is new, unused and in mint condition.

Papoose Room, Carlsbad Caverns National Park, New Mexico - Text on back: Papoose Room, Carlsbad Caverns National Park, New Mexico. This, the smallest of the four scenic rooms at the end of the Main Corridor, was the last to be added to the cavern trip. It is noted for its delicate ribbon stalactites or draperies, some of which are still forming. Carlsbad Caverns National Park is open every day in the yar. Castle Rock, Utah - Text on back: Castle Rock - "Priest and Nuns", Castle Valley, Utah. The famous "Priest and Nuns" red stone sculpture (left) stands well over a thousand feet off the Valley floor. Castle Rock (right) is an excellent example of the hundreds of giant monoliths in this area up stream on the Colorado River from Moab, Utah. Vintage postcard is unused and in good condition with slight edge/corner wear and scalloped edging.

Fort Necessity National Battlefield, Virginia - Text on back: Fort Necessity National Battlefield. (Visitor Center and Mt. Washington Tavern in background). Site of George Washington's first battle, July 3, 1754, and opening battle of French and Indian War. Fort rebuilt, 1954, following archeological survey, in likeness of original which was burned by the enemy. Administered by National Park Service. Located 11 miles east of Uniontown, Pennsylvania, on U.S. Rt. 40. Vintage postcard is unused and in good condition.

Their start points have no rolling foothills to permit the eyes to eyes into their vastness. Formed by tectonic forces nine million years ago, ice, water and wind have carved the jagged peaks we see today. Postcard is new, unused and in mint condition.

Formations in Bryce Canyon, Utah - Text on back: Formations in Fairyland Bryce Canyon National Park, Utah. A vast amphitheater shaped like a bowl, Bryce Canyon is twelve miles long and two miles wide, its walls rising in sculptured terraces and pinnacles 800 feet above the pine-covered floor of the canyon, its distinguishing characteristic is the brilliant coloring of its walls and formations, caused by the strata of varicolored limestones and clays. Vintage postcard is unused and in good condition.

Greetings From Turtle Back and Seven Mile Peak - Text on back: "Greetings From Turtle Back & Seven Mile Peak" Right: Seven Mile Peak Left: Turtle Back Mtn. Visible only a short distance from U.S. Hi-Way 80 (Broadway of America), between Van Horn and Sierra Blanca, Texas. Seven Mile Peak resembles Guadalupe Peak located some 55 miles further north. It was often mistaken for Guadalupe Peak by the early pioneers. Turtle Back Mtn. has the appearance of a sleeping turtle and was so named. Vintage postcard is unused and in good condition.

Sponge Geyser, Yellowstone National Park - Text on back: Sponge Geyser, 4ft., Upper Basin, Yellowstone Park, resembles a sponge in both color and form, yet its rock is flinty hard. Displays of this small geyser occur at intervals of 3 minutes and last 15 seconds. Vintage linen postcard has writing on back, is postmarked 1936, intact one-cent stamp. Card is in good condition with slight edge/corner wear.
