Yosemite Wilderness - Text on back: Ten Lakes is a popular destination for backpackers, 7 miles into the Yosemite Wilderness north of Route 120 in the center of the park at an elevation of 9,000 feet. This particular lake is the northern most of the Ten Lakes basin. Postcard is new, unused and in mint condition.

Death Valley - Artist’s Palette - Text on back: Death Valley National Park. Along Artist’s Drive in Death Valley National Park is Artist’s Palette. Here, oxidation has produced a rainbow of colors in the eroded clay deposits of ancient lake bed sediments. Iron oxides produce violet, yellow, red, brown, and black. Green is usually caused by copper or the breakdown of mica. Postcard is new, unused and in mint condition.

Death Valley Castle - Text on back: Scotty’s Castle Death Valley Ranch. Show place of Death Valley took 10 years to build and cost 2 million dollars. Built in its entirety on a Spanish motif. Everything on the inside is as lavish as it is on the outside. Up grapevine canyon are 6 springs producing 200 gallons of water per minute. Postcard is new, unused and in mint condition.

Yosemite Fjord - Text on back: Tilden Lake is located at the extreme northern end of the Yosemite Wilderness at 8,900 feet above sea level. The peak above the far end of the lake is called Keyes Peak at 9,600 feet elevation. Tower Peak is just to the right of Keyes Peak and is 11,755 feet. Postcard is new, unused and in mint condition.

Death Valley - Golden Canyon - Text on back: Death Valley National Park. A walk through Golden Canyon reveals splendid panoramas of Manly Beacon and the Red Cathedral. Golden Canyon was created as water, carrying abrasive material such as sand and gravel, cut through the layers of rock. The Red Cathedral is an ancient alluvial fan whose iron compounds solidified into stone. Manly Beacon is a deposit of clay. Photos by Jim Stroup. Postcard is new, unused and in mint condition.

Wizard Island, Crater Lake, Oregon - Text on back: Crater Lake within Wizard Island is a deep volcanic crater more than 1000 feet in circumference. Towering varicolored cliffs contrast with the deep blue of the Lake. Vintage postcard has writing on back, is postmarked 1960 and complete with intact 3 cent stamp. Card is in good condition.
