St. Louis Courthouse

The Old Court House whose cornerstone was laid in 1839 and completed in
1862, is situated on the grounds formerly contained a whipping post used
in "dispensing justice." This historic structure was the scene of the Dred
Scott Trail and also the starting point of the Daniel Boone trial.
