Kansas State Capitol - Text on back: This is one of the finest State Capitols in the U.S. height of dome to lantern balcony, 258 feet; height of dome at extreme top, 304 feet; length from north to south, including porches, 399 feet; east to west, 386 feet; square of the dome at base, 80 feet x 80 feet. 296 steps lead from upper floor of the building proper to the dome, affording a splendid view of Topeka. Vintage linen postcard is in good condition, has writing on back, postmarked 1947 with intact 1¢ stamp, slight edge wear.

Aerial View, Dodge City - Text on back: Once the “Queen of the Cowtowns,” Dodge City was an important loading site for cattle being shipped to Eastern markets. Boot Hill Museum can be seen at the top left. Postcard is unused and in good condition.

Grant Hall, Fort Leavenworth, Kansas - Text on back: Grant Hall, Fort Leavenworth, Kansas. Grant Hall is the center building in the Headquarters complex. The complex was built over a period of years from 1859 to 1904, and is named for Generals Sheridan, Grant and Sherman. It is now used as offices of the Combined Arms Center. Vintage postcard is unused and in good condition.

Sedgwick County Court House, Wichita - Text on back: The multi-million dollar Sedgwick County Court House towers into the skyline of Wichita, Kansas. A time bell from the original court house continues to symbolize that citizens of Sedgwick County have faith and knowledge that “Free and Independent Courts are Essential to Free and Independent People, and That Both Are Essential to Justice.” Vintage postcard is unused and in good condition.

Municipal Airport, Wichita - Text on back: Municipal Airport, Wichita, Kansas. This is the front view of the beautiful Administration Building for the Airport. Vintage postcard is unused and in good condition.

Veterans Administration Hospital, Topeka - Text on back: T-16-Veterans Administration Hospital, Topeka, Kansas. Postcard has writing on back; postmarked Herington, Kansas, April 11, 1962; three cent stamp is intact. Vintage postcard is in good condition.

World War II Memorial Campanile, Lawrence - Text on back: World War II Memorial Campanile, University of Kansas, Lawrence. The Campanile stands on Mount Oread overlooking beautiful Kaw Valley. Recitals on its 53-bell carillon are an integral part of K.U. life. Postcard has writing on back; postmarked May 27, 1960; Salina, Kansas; 1 three cent and 1 four cent stamp are intact. Vintage postcard is in good condition.

Dust Bowl Days of Kansas - Text on back: Kansas History. This photo, taken April 14, 1935, in Western kansas, shows people out on a rabbit hunt when they were overtaken by a dust storm. The "Dust Bowl" days in Kansas had a devastating effect on the state's economy. Postcard is new and in mint condition.
