Amboy California PostcardAmboy, California Graphic - Custom original only available at the Rocky Mountain General Store. Text on back: A long standing Route 66 icon, Roy's Café, gas station and motel are frozen in time in Amboy, California. Sitting along a deserted stretch of old Route 66, the facilities have been closed for several years, but there are plans in the works to restore this retro relic to its former glory. Postcard is brand new and in mint condition.

Nicodemus, Kansas PostcardNicodemus - Text on back - Nicodemus National Historic Site, Kansas. This area preserves, protects and interprets the only remaining western town established by African Americans during the Reconstruction Period following the Civil War. The town of Nicodemus is symbolic of the pioneer spirit of African-Americans who dared to leave the only region they had been familiar with to seek personal freedom and the opportunity to develop their talents and capabilities. Postcard is new, unused and in excellent condition.

Rhyolite, Nevada Depot - Text on back: Rhyolite, Nevada. The Las Vegas and Tonopah railroad depot. Called “The Dearborn Station of the West” in 1907, it was considered the finest station in Nevada. Proported to cost $20,000, it has a commanding view of Rhyolite and the entrance to Death Valley. Sitting on Nevada Street it stretches from Main to Golden Streets. Postcard is new, unused and in mint condition.

Nicodemus, Kansas PostcardNicodemus - 1885 - Text on back - Nicodemus National Historic Site, Kansas. View of Washington Street, Nicodemus in 1885. Founded in September, 1877, Nicodemus already consisted of about 300 Black settlers. By the mid-1880's, Nicodemus had been transformed into a prosperous town. They boasted of two newspapers, three general stores, at least three churches, a number of small hotels, one school, literary society, ice cream parlor, a bank, a livery, numerous homes and more. Postcard is new, unused and in excellent condition.

Halltown, MissouriHello from Halltown - Text on front: Halltown, Missouri rests on the western edge of the Ozark Plateau. In this scene, facing west, 66 drops down one of several hills as it enters the Great Plains. George Hall lent his name to Halltown, which was known as the "antique capital of the world" when 66 was in its heyday. Thelma White, owner of Whitehall Mercantile (right foreground), invites you to stop by and step back in time "Where Yesterday Meets Today." Postcard is new and in mint condition.

Gold King MineGold King Mine, Arizona - Text on back: Gold King Mine, Jerome, Arizona. Gold King Mine is one of the many scenic attractions found in the once booming mining town of Jerome. The mines around Jerome produced over a billion dollars worth of copper, gold, silver and zinc before being shut down in 1953. Postcard is new, unused and in mint condition.

Oatman, Arizona - Text on back: Oatman Arizona. To visit oatman is to leap back in time to an old west ghost mining town. The population has varied over time from almost 10,000 in 1916, as low as 15 to the present count of 150. Postcard is new, unused and in mint condition.

Rhyolite, Nevada Ghost Town - Text on back: Rhyolite ghost town 1904. A Single blanket jackass prospector named Frank “Shorty” Harris discovered gold in the Bullfrog Mountains. The town site of Rhyolite was platted below and had 6000 inhabitants by 1907. Today Las Vegas and Tonopah Railroad Station is in good order and it’s bar, restaurant are open to the public. There are several other concessions in the area and more are expected. Nevada, the Silver Sate; 51% of the gold mined in the U.S.A. is mined in Nevada! Postcard is new, unused and in mint condition.

Gold Road, Arizona Route 66 - Waldmire Art Card - Text on back: Route 66 was Certified in 1926 when the nation adopted a numbered system of cross country, inter-state roads. Fully paved by 1936, Route 66 became an important and legendary highway, "immortalized" in literature, music and on television. Gradually "replaced" by huge, homogeneous "interstates", 66 was decertified in 1985, ceasing to exist "officially". But well over 80% of the old road is still drivable. So, travel back in time and leave the stress behind on the interstates... and then, you too will say, "O still get me kicks on old Route 66." Postcard is unused and in very good condition.

Cool Springs PostcardCool Springs, Arizona -  Text on Back: Before Route 66 was realigned in 1953, Cool Springs, located on the eat side of the Black Mountains in western Arizona, offered the weary traveler gas, eats & lodging. Only ruins along the road remain. Tombstone, Arizona Epitaph - Text on back: The Tombstone Epitaph, Tombstone, Arizona. This famous old newspaper published its first sheet in 1880 when Tombstone was a blood-drenched town dominated by gunmen, rustlers and businessmen who thought foremost of their quick riches. Today, occupying an ancient building which was one of the town's biggest dance halls, the Epitaph still grinds out its printed message on a cranky old Campbell press. Postcard is new, unused and in mint condition.

Historic Austin, Nevada - Text on back: Austin, Nevada - Silver Camp - 1862. In September, 1863, Austin became Lander County Seat. Austin incorporated as a city in January, 1864, with a population of 7,000, second largest city in Nevada. The churches are Episcopal, Methodist and Catholic. Austin is one of the oldest towns in Nevada. Postcard is new, unused and in mint condition.

Historic Tonopah, Nevada - Text on back: Tonopah, Nevada. The business district looks very much as it did in 1907. The five story state bank building was completed in 1906, the Mizpah a year later. These two five story buildings were the tallest buildings in the state of Nevada for more than forty years. Postcard is new, unused and in mint condition.
