authentic 19th-Century buildings from around Montana, reassembled by Charles
Bovey in Alder Gulch, replacing the original won, burned to the ground in the
1930s. Site of several movies, the old buildings -- including the hotel's
two-story outhouse -- impart to visitors a sense of history and nostalgia for
gold rush days in Montana Territory. Postcard is new and in mint condition.

On August 11, 1872, Dr. Sheldon Jackson, Eminent Pioneer Missionary, organized the Presbyterian Church in Fairplay, with 8 members. Two years later he built this chapel. Vintage scalloped postcard is unused and in very good condition.
