Okaton, South Dakota Grain Elevator - Text on back: "A part of the past. Okaton, South Dakota Ghost Town. the historic Okaton Bank features western art bronze sculpture and Dakota cheese. Stop at the General Store for ages, fossils, souvenirs and supplies. Robert & Evelyn Westlake." Postcard is "new," but was originally printed by Mr. and Mrs. Westlake in 1984. Nevada City, Montana - Text on back: Nevada City consists of authentic 19th-Century buildings from around Montana, reassembled by Charles Bovey in Alder Gulch, replacing the original won, burned to the ground in the 1930s. Site of several movies, the old buildings -- including the hotel's two-story outhouse -- impart to visitors a sense of history and nostalgia for gold rush days in Montana Territory. Postcard is new and in mint condition.

Old Delta Saloon, Virginia City, Nevada - Text on back: The Old Delta Saloon and Gambling Palace Virginia City, Nevada. The Delta front is solid Comstock Cedar, and made by McIntosh, architect, wood craftsman and builder of the International Hotel front. Of the 100 saloons in Virginia City the Delta was the most famous for its gaming room where Bonanza Kings bucked the fare. It is known that $38,000 was lost on the turn of a card. The Delta extends a hearty welcome to friends and visitors. Vintage postcard is unused and in good condition.

Trainmen headed for Alpine Tunnel under the Continental Divide while teamsters supplied gold-rich Tincup. Miners toiled for unseen eastern owners. The Matchless Mine, Leadville - Text on back: The Matchless Mine, Leadville, Colorado. The mine left by the Famous H.A.W. Tabor to his wife Baby Doe whom he told to never give up. She kept his advice, living here in poverty till her death a few years ago. It is now a museum during the summer season. Postcard is new, unused and in very good condition.
