Jebedia Smith Redwoods State Park - Text on back: Jedediah Smith Redwoods State Park is included with the Mill creek Watershed and Del Norte Coast park to the south in the Administration proposal for a Redwood National Park. It is famous for its primeval rain forest and its massive ancient Coast Redwoods. The park was established in 1929 by Save-the-Redwoods League and the State of California. The new addition shown in this photograph was made in 1966 with the help of a $700,000 contribution from the League. Vintage postcard is unused and in good condition.

The Petrified Forest, a sanctuary of ancient trees, 67 miles north of San Francisco and 11 miles east of Santa Rosa, off U.S. Highway 101, California. Bellingrath Gardens, Mobile, Alabama - Text on back: Scene in Bellingrath Gardens, Mobile Alabama. Bellingrath Gardens, open year ‘round, are located less than 20 miles south of Mobile, Ala., on U.S. 90. During the fall and winter months, thousands of Camellias, embracing hundreds of varieties, are blooming. Beginning in February and lasting into April, hundreds of thousands of Azaleas burst into passionate flower, completely hiding their foliage in solid masses of white, pink, salmon, red, orange and cerise. During the spring and summer, all seasonal flowers and many exotics abound. Vintage postcard has writing on the back, is postmarked 1956 from Mobile, Ala., intact two cent stamp. Shows wear on corners.
