Providing majestic peaks, lush valleys, abundant wildlife, numerous entertainment opportunities, and a wealth of history, the Centennial State is one of the most visited in the nation. Postcard is brand new and in mint condition.

Jumping Cholla Cactus - Text on back: Jumping Cholla (Cho' Ya') Opuntia Bigelovii. Most dangerous of the desert cactus because of its loosely connected joints that drop to the flesh or clothing at the slightest disturbance. The barbed, needlelike spines bore deep and removal from flesh is very painful. Yet this is the most beautiful large cactus on the desert because of its shining silvery spines that look like tiny icicles in the sunlight. Flowers: Aril and May. This postcard is unused and in good condition.

Phono Planter - Text on back: Phono Planter-This artistic miniature is a perfect replica of an old-fashioned phonograph. Precision-cut pieces of rich California redwood go together like magic. Kit features a special die-cut horn in beautiful antique spatter-gold finish. Unique final touches are the "record disc" flower pot, the golden eagle emblem and the tiny crank with wooden handle. (Lifelike violet planting may be ordered separately.) Phono Planter measures 4 1/2" wide by 6 1/2" high. Another original hit kit from the studios of National Handcraft. Snack-A-Roo, National Handcraft Studios, Des Moines, Iowa - Text on back: Snack-A-Roo – The “seedy” guy who makes a hit with everyone. He’s a cunning, decorative centerpiece that quickly becomes the most unusual snack server imaginable. Really something to crow about when pre-cut form has been “feathered” with the exciting variety of exotic seeds. Special bronze-colored stick-a-pick base provides excellent hors d’oeuvre server. Other “relatives” available include Snack-A-Biddy (companion server) and Mini-Chicks (favor/place cards). All original creations from the National Handcraft Studios.
