Roundup PostcardThe Round Up - Custom original only available at the Rocky Mountain General Store. Text on Front: There is noise on the mountains and dust on the plain. And the cattle string out of the dry, sandy drains, While the far-scattered punchers are urgin' them in, With words that smell strong of original sin, With a racin' and chasin' and often bout-facin'. And that is the edge of the roundup. Text on back: The Round-Up was an integral part of the cowboy's life during the days of the Old West as it is today on modern ranches. Verse on front from a song by the same name, Badger Clark, 1906. Postcard is brand new and in mint condition.

Indian Relic Display, Cartersville, Georgia -  Text on back: Museum display of ritual objects at Etowah Mounds Archaeological Area near U.S. 41, Cartersville, Georgia. This important Indian site was a village and ceremonial center from about 800 A.D. to 1550 A.D. The mound area, with museum displaying artifacts, is open to visitors. Route 66 Sign postcardRoute 66 Sign - Custom original only available at the Rocky Mountain General Store. Text on back: Route 66 was thought of as the "super-highway” when it was commissioned in 1926, representing unprecedented freedom to travel across the American West. In 1985, the historic road was officially decommissioned as the pavement was bypassed by interstates. However, a new generation of travelers enjoy the historic highway today.
