North Dakota - The Roughrider State - Text on back: Greetings From North Dakota - The first Europeans reached North Dakota in 1738 and Lewis & Clark traveled through the area in 1804. Roundup PostcardThe Round Up - Text on Front: There is noise on the mountains and dust on the plain. And that is the edge of the roundup. Text on back: The Round-Up was an integral part of the cowboy's life during the days of the Old West as it is today on modern ranches. Verse on front from a song by the same name, Badger Clark, 1906. Postcard is brand new and in mint condition.
