Washington. the motorist following this scenic highway finds
an ever changing panorama of mountain and river. Vintage
postcard is in very good condition
for its age, is unused, shows one cent placeholder for
stamp.
Winthrop - Text
on back Winthrop,
Washington. Gateway to the North Cascades.
Winthrop was founded in 1891 by Guy W. Waring of Boston who
built the Methow Trading Company. The trading post was the
first eastern settlement on the wagon roads that connected
the Methow Valley with Western
Washington. This delightful
turn-of-the-century town is today as it was in 1891 -- the
Gateway to the North Cascades. Vintage scalloped edge
postcard is in good condition, is unused, shows
slight creasing in lower left corner.

good condition, shows creasing to right side, unused, one
cent placeholder for stamp.
