Mormon Tabernacle, Salt Lake City - Text on back: These two magnificent structures are unique in their architecture. They attract more favorable attention than any other church buildings in America. Their setting within the walls of Temple Square, among the beautiful flowers and trees, afford the visitor a pleasure never to be forgotten. National Parking - Custom original only available at the Rocky Mountain General Store. The U.S. National Park Service maintains nearly 400 natural, cultural and recreational sites across the nation. The first National Park system in the world, the park service was created in 1916 and now entertains some 275 million people yearly who marvel at the many natural and historic wonders and enjoy the recreational opportunities the parks provide. The images depicted here were created by the Works Progress Administration (WPA) in the 1930's and 1940's. Postcard is brand new and in mint condition.

Cinder Cones, Mojave National Preserve - Text on back: Cinder Cones. A cinder cone is a steep cone-shaped hill made up of volcanic fragments. These fragments accumulated around and downwind from the vent. Cinder cones can range in size from tens to hundreds of feet high.
