U.S.S. Lexington, Corpus Christi - Text on back: U.S.S. Lexington CV 16 - Commissioned in 1943, she served the United States longer and set more records than any other carrier in the United States Navy by the time she was decommissioned in 1991. This national treasure is now berthed off Corpus Christi Beach as the Lady Lex Museum. Postcard is unused and in excellent condition.

The Jersey Lilly - Judge Roy Bean's Court House, Langtry, Texas - Jersey Lilly Saloon contains the Hall of Justice presided over by Judge Roy Bean, called the "Law West of the Pecos," from whose judgments and decisions there was no appeal to a higher court. Postcard is in good condition, unused, some damage from tape on left side.

Greetings From Texas - Text on back: Interstate 40 through Texas. Visitors view this beautiful semi-desert country and modern highways from the Oklahoma state line to New Mexico state line on Interstate 40. Postcard is new and in mint condition.

Texas Cowboys - Texas - The lone star state. Postcard is new, unused, and in mint condition.

Texas - The Lone Star State - The Texas flag is the most recognizable symbol of the Lone Star State. Adopted on January 24, 1839, as the national flag of the Republic of Texas.

Campbell Centre, Dallas, Texas - The first major buildings in the world to use glass with real gold. Standing between the two gold towers is the Doubletree Inn offering some of the finest in local hotel accommodations. Continental size postcard is in good condition, slight bending to upper left corner, but no crease, writing on back and intact 13¢ stamp.

Texas - Lone Star Map - Text on back: Texas, The Lone Star State. Becoming the 28th state on December 29, 1845, Texas is ranked second in size among all the states. Austin is the Texas capital, while Houston is the state's largest city. More than 4,000 kinds of wild flowers grow in Texas. The Bluebonnet, with its blue bonnet-shaped petals, is the state's official flower. Texas' official state bird is the mockingbird. Postcard is new, unused and in excellent condition.

Judge Bean Court - Langtry, Texas. Thousands of tourists visit this museum each year to see the famous old court where Judge Bean ruled with an iron hand.

Kilgore, Texas - Pump Jack and Roses, Kilgore, Texas. This lovely sight occurs each spring at the historic Lou Della Crim home in Kilgore. Lou Della Crim owned the land where Bateman-Crim Wildcat Well #1 blew on December 28, 1930. That well as the discovery well for this area of the significant East Texas oil field. Postcard is unused and in good condition. Shows some wear to sides.

Old Stone Fort - Nacogdoches, Texas. Built in 1779 as a Spanish trading post and fort for trade with Indians, the Old Stone Fort was the headquarters for foiur unsuccessful attempts to establish the Republic of Texas. Texas' first two newspapers were printed here. The reconstructed fort stands on the campus of Stephen F. Austin State University. Postcard is unused and in good condition. Shows some wear to sides and has a child's writing on back.

Port Isabel Lighthouse - Text on Back: Port Isabel Lighthouse, Port Isabel, Texas. Built in 1851, this is the smallest state park in Texas. Climb to the top and enjoy a panoramic view of the coastal area and south Padre Island. Vintage postcard has writing on back with 14¢ postmarked stamp. Fair condition, spots and stains on front.

L.B.J. Ranch - Text on Back: Entrance L.B.J. Ranch, Ranch Road #1, near Johnson City, Texas. This ranch home was called the "Texas White House" while Lyndon Baines Johnson was President of the United States. Vintage postcard with scalloped edges is unused and in good condition.

State Capital, Austin - Text on back: Texas State Capitol Austin, Texas. The story of this fabulous building is as romantic as a novel. Built in 1888 of pink granite from Granite Mountain at Marble Falls, Texas, it is the largest State Capitol Building in the world and second in size to the Capitol of The United States. Vintage postcard is unused and in good condition.

Lexington CV 16 -The Blue Ghost... a floating Naval Museum on Corpus Christi Bay... is berthed just offshore from The Texas State Aquarium... all on beautiful Corpus Christi Beach... which provides swimming, picnic facilities, sail boating and sunning for local residents and tourists alike.
