One of the many wind mills in
Texas. This wind mill has pumped
thousands of gallons of water for thirsty cattle. The wind mill is
often referred to as a desert air conditioner. Vintage postcard is
unused and in good condition with scalloped edging.

Texas. U-Drop Inn was built in 1936, J.M. Tindall and R.C. Lewis built
the beautiful Tower at the cost of $23,000. J.C. Berry of
Shamrock was the architect on the job. The building
houses the Tower Service Station, owned by W.C. Tennison and the
U-Drop Inn owned and operated by Mr. and Mrs. John Nunn. Nunn conceived the idea for the structure two years before it was
erected, interesting Tindall and Lewis in constructing it.

the U. S. Capitol in Washington among the capitols of the United States.

Gateway International Bridge: spans the Rio Grande River at the southern
tip of Texas and joins Matamoris Mexico to Brownsville Texas. Vintage

Seaman's
Memorial Tower, Aransas Pass - Text on back: Seaman's Memorial
Tower - Aransas Pass, Texas. The Tower, paid for by public donations, was
built on the harbor front to honor area seamen lost at sea. Dedicated on
May 9, 1970, the Tower is nearly 100 feet high . . . including a 22·foot
white cross, illuminated at night and visible for more than 10 miles at
sea. A feature of the structure is a 12·foot hand hewn statue of Christ.
