1880 Town St. Stephens Church - Text on back:
South Dakota's
original 1880 Town, 22 miles west of Murdo,
South Dakota.
The town consists of more than 20 buildings relocated to this site from
throughout the state and furnished with thousands of unique relics of the
old west. St. Stephens Church moved from Dixon,
South Dakota.

Mount Moriah Cemetery
- Text on back:
Wild Bill Hickok (1837-1876) American frontier scout and famed
lawman of the West.
Hickok liked to gamble at cards and while playing in a poker game, he was
shot in the back by Jack McCall, on August 2, 1876.
Wild Bill was holding
Ace's and Eight's when he was shot, forever after called the "Dead Man's
Hand." Calamity Jane (1852-1903) was the nickname of Martha Jane Canary, a
famous American frontierswoman. She was an expert with horse and rifle and
served as a scout for
General George Custer. She was in
Deadwood
during the time
Wild Bill Hickok was shot and killed. Today they lie next to one
another in the Mt. Moriah Cemetery.

prospectors struck gold in
Deadwood Gulch,
Dakota Territory and that is
how the town of
Deadwood was born. All of downtown is a National Historic
Landmark. When you walk down Main Street, you can feel the presence of
Wild Bill Hickok and Calamity Jane walking along beside you.

Custer State Park in
South Dakota. This road through this beautiful and
haunting park carries the traveler through breath taking vistas of rock,
across peaceful mountain valleys and along-side the calm serenity of
lovely Sylvan Lake. Vintage postcard is in good condition with very slight
edge/corner wear.
South Dakota State Flower - Text on back: The State Flower. In
1903, J.L. Close of White Lake proposed the pasque (Pulsatilla Iudociciana)
as the state flower with the motto, “I Lead.” Vintage postcard is in good
condition.
