Historic Deadwood - Text on back: Deadwood, SD - Refurbished rows of gambling and ding saloons recreate the historic days of the Gold Rush of downtown Deadwood -- complete with cobbled streets and classic turn-of-the-century architecture.

Spearfish Canyon, Black Hills - Spearfish Canyon is reached by one of the finest highways in the country, leading down through, what in spite of its name, is an ideal spot, Hell's Gate, and Ice Box Canyon. Fine camping grounds and many cottages which may be rented are along the streams where rainbow or specked trout splash alluringly. Vintage postcard shows wear at edges, is used with writing on back, intact 2¢ stamp, postmarked from Chicago, June 18, 1955.

Black Hills Donkeys - Black Hills, South Dakota . These friendly beggars, also called "Rocky Mountain Canires" may be seen in Custer State Park. Postcard is in very good condition and is unused.

Deadwood Historic Main Street: Text on Back: Deadwood, South Dakota keeps the Gold Rush days of 1876 alive and well today, with its reconstructed historical Main Street, still bustling with gamblers and adventurous visitors. Postcard is new, unused and in mint condition.

Okaton Grain Elevator - Text on back: "A part of the past. Okaton, South Dakota Ghost Town. the historic Okaton Bank features western art bronze sculpture and Dakota cheese. Stop at the General Store for ages, fossils, souvenirs and supplies. Robert & Evelyn Westlake." Postcard is "new," but was originally printed by Mr. and Mrs. Westlake in 1984. Huge herds of buffalo roam the Parks and pastures so, waiting a few minutes for them to pass is a pleasure, not a chore.
