Jesse James - Born September 5, 1847 in
Kearney, Clay County,
Missouri. The notorious outlaw and bandit was
killed at St. Joseph,
Missouri by Bob Ford, "the dirty little coward"
who shot Jesse in the back. Many people around the United States look
upon Jesse James with an image of Robin Hood. Postcard

Billy The Kid - Text on back: Billy the Kid, 1859-1881. Born William H. Bonney in New York City November 11, 1859. Shot and killed 21 men by the time of his 21st birthday, including an unknown
gunfighter in Coffeyville, Kansas when he was 14. He was shot and killed by Sheriff Pat Garrett July 14, 1881 on the Maxwell Ranch near Fort Sumner, New Mexico . A little more than 4 months before his 22nd birthday.

A Cowboy Prayer: Text on Back: "A Cowboy's Prayer" was written by Charles Badger Clark (1883-1957), one of South Dakota's
most beloved citizens, who was named state poet laureate in 1939. "Badger" built and lived in a cabin called "The Badger Hole" in Custer State Park. Postcard is new, unused and in mint condition.
Jesse James House Set of Two: Two Jesse James home postcards. First is Jesse James home today, the second is his home in 1882. It was here that he was killed by gang member Bob Ford on April 3, 1882. Both are new and unused.
The First Ride of the Pony Express - Text on Back: The First Ride of the Pony Express By Charles Hargens. On April 3, 1860, the first rider left from the Pikes Peak Stables, now the Pony Express Museum, and began the 1,966 mile relay to California. Collection of St. Joseph Museum.
