Route 66 was certified in 1926 when the nation adopted a numbered system of cross-country, inter-state roads. Fully paved by 1936, Route 66 became an important and legendary highway, "immortalized" in literature, music and on television. Postcard is new, unused and in excellent condition.

There are currently thirty-five tribes of Indians living in Oklahoma. Oklahoma has the second largest Indian population of any state in the Union.
