Strip Land Run 1893 -
Text on back: On September 16, 1893, the starting gun signaled the opening of
6,400,000 acres of the Cherokee Outlet territory where 40,000 claims of 160
acres each were offered. Over 100,000 settlers participated in the Land Run.

Hall of Fame, Oklahoma City - Text on back: National Cowboy Hall of Fame and
Western Heritage Center. 1700 NE 63rd Street, Route 66, Oklahoma City, Oklahoma.
Dedicated to the pioneer sprit of America and to the men and women who built the
West. Vintage postcard is unused and in good condition with some edge/corner
wear.
Victor
Building, Guthrie - Text on back: Frontier Country - Guthrie, Oklahoma - Victor
Building. Triumph of its time, the "Victor Building" was built in 1893 as the
finest commercial building in Guthrie by Winfield S. Smith. Besides Lillie's
Drug Store, the building also held a number of Territorial offices, several
saloons a wholesale liquor business, and a ballroom on the third floor. The
basement connected to other downtown buildings via tunnels. Postcard is new,
unused and in good condition with slight edge/corner wear.
Will Rogers Statue, Claremore - Text on back: Will Rogers
Memorial - Claremore, Oklahoma. Statue in memory of Oklahoma's own Will Rogers,
on his favorite horse, Soapsuds. Vintage postcard is unused and in good
condition with slight edge/corner wear.
Greetings From Oklahoma - Text on back: Oklahoma State
Capital, Oklahoma City, Oklahoma. Oklahoma State Capital building as seen from
the South. Note the Oil Wells in the foreground. The Capital Building is
surrounded on all sides by oil wells and is truly an inspiring sight. Vintage
postcard is unused and in good condition.
