Indian Pueblo, first seen by white men in the time of Coronado (1541). Serving as residence for a Franciscan Missionary, along with Old San Miguel Mission, it was prominent in bringing Christianity to what is now the United States. Vintage

Kit Carson, home of the famous Taos Art Colony, and located close to city is the Taos
Indian Pueblo, which is one of the oldest and most famous of the

This shows the North section of the Pueblo, with the sacred mountain in the background. It can be truthfully said that this is the oldest apartment house in the world, being over 300 years old.
