is modeled after the Cologne Cathedral in Germany, in Gothic style, from
plans by Von Herbulis, European architect. Completed in 1926, at a cost of
about one million dollars, its construction was made possible by gifts from
the Cruse family, and parish members. Vintage

Image Composite Map. A mosaic of 33 Landsat Thematic Mapper images,
recorded between June and September in 1991 through 1993. The images were
taken from a satellite orbiting 438 miles above the earth. The map was
produced by scientists in the Wildlife Spatial analysis Lab at the
University of Montana in Missoula.

two-story outhouse -- impart to visitors a sense of history and nostalgia for
gold rush days in Montana Territory. Postcard is new and in mint condition.

Fairweather, a member of the party of seven who first discovered gold in the

City, Montana. Five of the "Road Agents" hanged, Clubfoot George Lane, Hayes
Lyons, Jack Gallagher, Boone Helm and Frank Parish, were buried in Virginia

Paul's Episcopal Church, and the Thompson-Hickman Memorial Library and Museum --
then take the steam-powered Alder Gulch Shortline Railroad to nearby historic

Bannack, Montana

sky Country's best-preserved ghost towns. Protected as a state park, it marks
the site of the first major gold strike in Montana Territory, a region over
which it served as capital in the early 1860's -- until the gold ran out. Today,
tourists can explore both inside and outside most of the historic buildings.
