Camp Newlahlu, Coeur d'Alene - Text on back:
Waterfront on Lake Coeur d'Alene, Coeur d'Alene, Idaho. Rated as one of
the most beautiful camps in the United States. Blue Birds, Campfire
Girls, Junior Hi Campfire Girls and Horizon Club members from Idaho and
Washington are afforded such interesting activities as sailing, boating,
canoeing, swimming, archery, camping, handicraft and nature study.

Salmon River - Text on back: The Salmon, River
of No Return, flows through one of America's wildest regions. This
scene, up stream from Riggins, is in a 20-mile stretch of canyon which
can be followed by auto. Most of its rugged length, however courses
through untrodden wilderness. Many venturesome boaters consider the
Salmon America's greatest challenge. Vintage postcard is unused and in
good condition.
Selway Falls - Text on back: Selway Falls, on
the Selway River, 20 miles off the Lewis and Clark Hwy. These falls form
a partial block for the Salmon run and long ago were a favorite spot for
Indians and whites to spear these fish. Vintage postcard is unused and
in good condition.
Craters of the Moon National Monument - Text on
back: Craters of the Moon National Monument, Idaho. Ropy Pahoehoe -
Pahoehoe (pa-ho-ay-ho-ay) lava forms fascinating patterns as it cools.
Here the surface scum was wrinkled, twisted, folded, and pleated by the
continued movement of the molten lava underneath. Vintage postcard is
unused and in good condition.
City Park, Coeur D' Alene - Text on back: The
City Park at Coeur d'Alene, Idaho is an outstanding recreation spot for
group and family picnics, strollers or the carefree occupant of a park
bench. It is a most tranquil setting with a perfect sandy beach to the
left of photo and a huge yellow pine grassy park to the right. Coeur
d'Alene is North Idaho's largest city. Vintage postcard is unused and in
good condition.
Clearwater
River - Text on back: Clearwater River, joins the Snake at
Lewiston. Its clear blue water continues through the years despite
civilization. These scene at Cottonwood Creek centers an island once
skirted by Lewis and Clark in "holler canoes" a century and half ago.
The Clearwater has two large tributaries, the North Fork and the Middle
Fork. Vintage postcard is unused and in very good condition.
Bonners Ferry,
Idaho
- Text on back: Edwin L. Bonner Built A Ferry at this point in 1864 to
transport gold rush customers across the Kootenai
River to British Columbia. This
ferry operated until after the turn of the century when a bridge was
built. Today, Bonners Ferry, pop. 1909, is the Country Seat of Boundary
County and a favorite stop for travelers to and from Canada 35 miles
north on Hwy. 95 or from Montana on Hwy. 2. Lumbering and fertile
Kootenia River Valley farmland support
the economy. Vintage
postcard has writing on back, is in good condition, postmarked 1947 from
Greenacres, Washington.
