U Drop Inn PostcardU Drop Inn Cafe in Shamrock, Texas -  Text on back:  U - Drop Inn, located on Historical Route 66, Shamrock, Texas. U-Drop Inn was built in 1936, J.M. Tindall and R.C. Lewis built the beautiful Tower at the cost of $23,000. J.C. Berry of Shamrock was the architect on the job. The building houses the Tower Service Station, owned by W.C. Tennison and the U-Drop Inn owned and operated by Mr. and Mrs. John Nunn. Nunn conceived the idea for the structure two years before it was erected, interesting Tindall and Lewis in constructing it. Postcard is new and in mint condition.

Oldest House in the USA - Text on back: Located on the south side of the Santa Fe River, the Oldest House in the last remnant of the Pueblo of Analco, built about 1200 A.D. constructed of puddle adobe, the original entrances are through the roof, a typical Indian custom. Postcard is unused and in good condition. Small wear spot on top center.

Santa Fe Capital - Text on back: Capital of New Mexico, and the cultural center of the southwest, Santa Fe was founded in 1610, a decade before the Pilgrims stepped onto Plymouth Rock. The Cathedral of St. Francis was built in 1869 by Bishop Jean Baptiste Lamy, and the smaller gothic Loretto Chapel houses the legendary “Miraculous Staircase.” The famed La Fonda Hotel is located on the historic plaza, at the end of the Santa Fe Trail, and features fine food, spirits, and live entertainment. Postcard is unused and in excellent condition.

Sandia Mountain Range - Text on back: Few cities throughout the nation are as fortunate as is Albuquerque, New Mexico. For here in the Sandia Mountains the people are afforded a truly fantastic playground for both summer and winter sports. In the winter the main attraction is the fine ski run and other activities that attend the snow. In the summer time, trips to Sandia Crest at an altitude of 10,678 ft. not only afford the pleasure of picnicking at the many small parks along the way, but one of the scenic wonders of the world is at the summit.
