Ted Drewe's Frozen Custard, St. Louis, Missouri - Text on back: A
Route 66 institution, the Ted Drewes family has been serving up scrumptious
frozen custard since 1929. At the window counter, the crowd muses on their
purchase - should it be a custard cone or one of the world famous extra thick
shakes known as Concretes? No matter what you choose you won't be disappointed.

The Browsery, Tulsa, Oklahoma
- Text on back:
The Browsery, near the corner of Harvard & 11th, was all that remained of the
series of buildings comprising Chief Wolf Robe's early trading post in
Tulsa.
(He later moved it to Catoosa.) In the late 1990s, the building was demolished
for expansion of the Skelly Stadium complex, but at the time of publication, the
empty lot remains. Postcard is new and in mint condition.
Meramec Caverns Barn near Sapulpa, Oklahoma - Text on back:
As of 1996, there were two Meramec Caverns "barns" along Route 66 in
Oklahoma.
One still remains just west of Chandler. The one shown on the front of this card
was located between
Tulsa and
Sapulpa on current State Highway 66. The barn was
demolished for construction of the Creek Turnpike/I-44 Interchange. Postcard is
new and in mint condition.
Clock Inn Motel, Oklahoma City, Oklahoma
- Text on back: The
Clock Inn Motel sign once overlooked the 1954 alignment in eastern
Oklahoma City
(north side of I-44 by Lippert Road, just west of the I-35 junction.) The sign
is now at the Muscle Car Ranch in Chickasha, Oklahoma. The motel itself is long
gone. Postcard is new and in mint condition.
