The closed Sunset Motel in Villa Ridge still appears to be in good condition, Kathy Weiser, November, 2007. Just about one mile beyond the now closed Tri-State Truck Stop, at 427 MO-AT, is the old Sunset Motel. Built in the 1940's, the motel offered 12 units and advertised Panel Ray Heat and Beautyrest Mattresses. Today, the old lodging facility is closed.
