This old piano stopped playing is vibrant

This house sits next to The
Eagle
Nest Lodge, most
likely belonging to the owner or manager.

This building appears to have housed stables
on
the lower level, with rooms above. Kathy Weiser,

This round wooden bar and chair were in a large room
that appeared to have once been a lounge. Opposite
this bar is a beautiful three sided fireplace. Photo by

Upstairs rooms at the lodge. No, we did
not go in!!
This old building is dangerous! This
picture was taken standing on a slope next to the hotel through a window.

This addition to the
Eagle
Nest Lodge was called the
Casa Loma, as can be seen on the side of one building.
Some locals say that the lodge was called the Eagle Nest
Inn
when it was still open, but no where was that name found. Photo by

The small
building in front served as a saddle shed.

The Guest Annex, built later, at first
appeared to us
to have stables underneath. Instead,
these were more likely garages for the new generation of motor cars.
