Ordering online with
Rocky Mountain General Store is easy and safe. We utilize PayPal and
Google Checkout, both of which are
secure servers, utilizing encrypted transaction information, similar as
methods used by banks.
Paypal - This service allows you to utilize a credit card or a direct debit
from your account, without sending your secure information to The
Rocky Mountain General Store. You are not required to
establish a Paypal account to place your order and there are no additional
fees to you. Alternately, if you are not comfortable with ordering on
line, you can order by mail, email, or phone (see below).
Pay securely online with any major credit card
through PayPal with no additional charge to you.
Google Checkout
- Google Checkout does require that you establish an account, but this
payment method allows you to order over and over again on this website and
others without having to re-input all of your information. Again, there
are no additional fees.
Note: Not
all items are currently established to use Google checkout, as this is an
ongoing process. However, if they aren't, you can send us an
email and we
will invoice you using Google Checkout, during this interim period.

Order by Mail
If you would rather send us your order by mail, you can print and complete
this order
form and mail to the address below. Unfortunately, we cannot
accept credit cards on orders by mail, email or phone. However, we
will accept personal checks or money orders. Please allow additional
shipping time for personal checks.

Shipping and
Handling
Shipping and
handling costs vary by weight and USPS guidelines. Postcards have a
minimum shipping charge of .79 based on weight and and additional charge
for rigid objects. For books, shipping and handling costs are generally
$3.95-$4.95, depending on the weight. Other inventory items also vary by
weight, with the
average being about $6. To see what the shipping costs will be on a
particular item, add it to your shopping cart and proceed to checkout
where the shipping amount will be displayed. If you don't like what you
see, simply remove the item from the cart.
If ordering with
the Order Form, please include the shipping charges. As a rule, books are
shipped media mail, postcards are shipped first class, and larger items
will be shipped either UPS OR U.S. Mail, whichever is most economical.
Items will generally be shipped within two business days
of receipt of order when a credit card or money order is used. Anticipate a longer shipping time for personal checks.
7.25% Sales Tax will be added for Kansas residents.
