Paul T. Carr built this Phillips 66 Station in
1932 at the corner of Washington and Franklin Streets. In addition to
running the station for decades, Carr also ran a Pontiac dealership in
Cuba. After decades of serving Route 66 travelers, the site was sold and
converted into a Mobil Station in 1968. Today; however, the station has
been fully restored to its original facade.
