The Gold Medal Sign, first erected in 1934 on the southwest corner of 11th and Lewis streets was taken down on June 16, 2004. However, the sign was donated by the museums new owner and the Tulsa Foundation for Architecture is looking for donations to restore the old sign and place it in a new location.
